I am Medicare Approved

Is my Insurance Accepted?

I work with the federal Medicare plan not a PPO. Your supplement and insurance cover the cost of my sessions which are $150, your insurance does not cover the fee. My office provides the paperwork to file for your reimbursement. If you need assistance, a billing company will be able to help. Most charge $25-35/ month to file the claim.

Is Video Secure

During the corona virus mandates are in place that allow and encourage tele-therapy. You can choose from phone, or video session.

Medicare- Brain Health for Seniors

A challenged brain is a happy brain.

So when the kids are grown and you’ve retired from your  job, you could find yourself struggling a bit to stay busy and engaged. Those changes in activity along with a decrease of stress can impact your mind. The National Alliance on Mental Illness says that more than 6.5 million American seniors suffer from depression.

Staying physically healthy, socially active, and mentally engaged are keys to boosting mental health

Ways to stay active and connected are:

  1. Just keep moving- join the Ymca, visit your local senior center, find interest groups on  Meetup.com, take walks, exercise, stretch do what you can to help move your muscles and limbs.
  2. Get a pet!
  3. Attend events- get on your computer and look up sites such as Eventbrite, Meetup.com, or Facebook to find weekly or weekend activities.
  4. Stay involved in Family Functions
  5. Go back to school- keep your mind sharp, learn something new
  6. Volunteer- local non-profits usually have a list of needs
  7. Get a Deeper Spiritual connection- faith has always been a positive way to center your thoughts and find the positive.
  8. Redefine purpose- mentor a young person
